Who is ready for school to end? ME!!!  This past weekend I went home because I wanted to bring half of my stuff from my dorm so it will be easier for me to move out after finals. I also mowed the lawn for the very first time at home since the weather was so beautiful. It was a lot of work because I have so much grass. There are like 8 different lawns I had to mow and they weren't small either. My dad was supervising me the whole time, making sure I got every single patch of grass cut. He got tired of standing so he brought out a lawn chair and sat on the side and watched me mow the lawn. Haha. My dad is still recovering from his surgery, but he is doing very well. He is relaxing at home, watching Korean dramas 24/7. I also found out from this past weekend that I got into the College of Education at UIC!!! PRAISE GOD! I told my mom about it and she was like, "You still have two more years." I was like, "Thanks mom."  I guess my parents are not thrilled that I will be here at UIC for an extra year. It's okay. I don't mind. It's normal to graduate here at UIC in five years sadly. I can't believe my junior year is ending very soon. I'm going to miss it even though it was a rollercoaster. God has definitely tested my faith and challenged me through crazy experiences. But I learned to trust in Him and to let Him have His way according to His plans for me. He is a faithful and good God. Lastly, I'm definitely going to miss my CTY 428 clustermates!!! CHERYL: I'm going to miss your English accent and your random loud yells. I'm glad that I was able to keep you hydrated by providing you cold, filtered water.  
SUSAN: I will see you next year future TBH room mate. Hehe. But I will miss your crazy dance moves. Haha!
ELLEN: I'm going to miss your hopping whenever you get excited and your stylish wardrobe and also your Korean food. Yummmm. 
CHRIS: (1st sem) I miss you too! Come back soon! 
Last, but not least...BECKAY! oh man, where do I start? haha. You have been an awesome roomie. I'm going to miss blasting our U2 music on really loud and singing along with Bono. Hehe. I'm going to miss our moments where we shared our struggles, laughs, and stressful times. And I'm definitely going to miss eating with you late at night, snacking on food when we weren't supposed to.  
I will miss you all!!! we shall have a reunion sometime...promise!  |
